MECHANIC: RESURRECTION

MECHANIC: RESURRECTION

Mechanic: Resurrection is a 2016 American action thriller film. It is the sequel to the 2011 film The Mechanic, which was a remake of the 1972 film of the same name. The film stars Jason Statham, Tommy Lee Jones, Jessica Alba and Michelle Yeoh.

After the demise of his partner-turned-enemy Steve McKenna (Ben Foster), Arthur Bishop (Statham), who narrowly escaped from Steve’s murder attempt on him, retires as a contract killer. But when his most formidable foe kidnaps the love of his life, he is forced to travel the globe to complete three impossible assassinations, and do what he does best: make them look like accidents.

REVIEW
First off, some of the summaries online mention a deceitful woman, thats probably not even the first five minutes… This movie is really about people getting caught up in difficult situations after running from their pasts which comes back to haunt them.

I enjoyed this movie for a couple of reasons

1. Statham hits his groove… He does not stop. He fights from beginning to end.
2. Alba got a very nice role… Yes she is arm candy and basically meat but it works…
3. The contract killings were works of art… I loved every one…
4. This movie was very well choreographed… its a b movie but good b movie…
5. Reminds me of Jackie Chan… lots of kung fu and gun fu…
6. Never a dull moment…

If you are into action movies… this will be one for you…

Well Enjoy…
